Learning Center by FFF:

Learn to tie your first fly, learn to cast, and make knots easy. The
Federation of Fly Fishers will be teaching kids from 8 to 80 on the
basics of fly fishing. Be sure to stop by their learning area on the
show floor during the show.

4th Annual Wright & McGill Fly Casting Championships
The competition is open to anyone and there is no cost to participate! Test your accuracy skills against the best casters in the Rocky Mountain region at
targets between 20' and 60'. Grand Prize is a $1,000 prize package featuring the best Wright & McGill products. Sign up for the Friday and Saturday
qualifying sessions in the Wright & McGill booth at the show. Finals will be held Sunday afternoon.

Rocky Mountain Bamboo Revival
This area is becoming so popular we have expanded it again! Continuous
rod building demonstrations, Free Bamboo Rod Appraisals during the Entire
Show, an expanded world class display of bamboo rod history, plus more rod
makers displaying their bamboo rods to admire, ask about or purchase.

Classes with the Experts:

Note: Most classes require some tying experience and others may require more. Ask us when you call. Beginners are welcome, but be prepared for more than basics. All students must bring their own tying vise, tools, lamp if needed, and a sampling of materials. Most classes will provide adequate materials for the patterns being taught.  If a class is canceled, you will be notified 5 days prior to the show and permitted to switch or receive a refund.

Casting Classes: Bring your own rod, reel & line.

Fly Tying Classes: Bring your own tools & a basic selection of materials.
