FFF Learning Center
The Federation of Fly Fishers (FFF) hosts the Fly Fishing Learning Center with fly tying, casting instruction and other fly fishing information and is free to show attendees. Fly tying focuses on young attendees, but all ages are welcome. Tying sessions begin every 30 minutes during periods of high demand; “when you get there” during periods of lighter attendance. There are usually three casting classes per day taught by FFF Certified Casting instructors, 11 a.m., 1 and 3 p.m. Sign-up for each casting class at the FFF booth. These classes are limited to 10 students and are about 1 hour long. Fly rods provided. For more experienced fly fishers, an instructor will individually video your cast and evaluate it with suggestions for improvement. The FFF Learning Center is good place to advance the skills of all fly fishers. Stop by and get acquainted!
