A Note From the Director
Welcome to the 2010 Fly Fishing and Wingshooting Show.  We are very excited about the effort put forth to expand the programs, and provide the chance to meet new celebrity experts who are anxious to share their knowledge and sport with you.  There will be a new saltwater fly fishing area added to the fresh water area that will have it’s own large casting pond, “Big Flats”.  It will have plenty of room to make those long casts needed in saltwater and allow you to test those new rods, especially the two handed models. You’ll have a show full of other products to see. There’ll be books, and DVDs to take home for later reinforcement after you visit one of over 50 daily seminars and demonstrations.  The fly tying aisle will be doubled in size to help you tie all the new salt water patterns along with your favorite trout and bass flies. The wingshooting area will entertain you as you learn with amazing dog demonstrations and seminars to help you with selecting a lodge or location to satisfy the most discriminating shooting experience. When you are not learning at our talks or watching the dogs, you will find great conservation groups, lodges and a variety of needs for the hunter and his best friend! Be sure to catch Dez Young and Dash in the Point Room, and demonstrating in the Dog Bowl, as this will be their only east coast stop this year.  Don’t forget to select one of our special classes taught by national experts.  There are casting classes and fly tying.  After your class you’ll still have time to enjoy the show with complimentary admission.  These small classes are up close and personal, so don’t hesitate to register before they fill. Tell your friends, better yet, bring them along, and have a great time. See you at the show.
